FAQ – Innerpeas Counselling and Psychotherapy
1. What services do you offer?
I provide individual, couples, and family counselling for adults and teens. My approach integrates Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), DBT skills, and faith-integrated counselling when requested. Sessions are offered online through a secure platform.
2. What can I expect in the first session?
The first session focuses on understanding your main concerns, your goals for counselling, and your background. You’ll have space to share at your own pace, and together we will create a plan that feels supportive and achievable.
3. How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically 60 minutes for individual sessions/ 90 minutes for couples/family sessions. Extended sessions are available upon request.
4. Do you offer in person counselling?
Unfortunately we will provide online counselling at the current time being.
5. How much does counselling cost?
Standard individual sessions are $150 and couples/family sessions are $200.
6. Do you accept insurance?
Many insurance plans in Ontario cover services by a Registered Psychotherapist (RP).
Please check with your provider to confirm your coverage. Receipts will be issued for you to submit for reimbursement.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed sessions will be charged the full session fee.
8. How do I prepare for an online session?
Choose a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection. Headphones are recommended for privacy. A link to your session will be emailed to you in advance.

Exceptions include concerns about harm to yourself or others, or legal reporting obligations.
